About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Software Developer who is passionate about code quality, readability, and education. In this role, you will not be building commercial applications; instead, you will be "teaching" next-generation AI models how to write, debug, and understand complex code.
Your work will directly improve the AI’s ability to generate accurate, secure, and efficient code from natural language prompts. This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of Software Engineering and Generative AI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Code Annotation: Analyze complex code snippets and write detailed, grammatically perfect explanations (docstrings/comments) describing the logic, syntax, and functionality.
- Prompt Engineering: Create high-quality "User Prompts" (natural language instructions) and corresponding "Gold Standard" code solutions to train the model.
- Reinforcement Learning (RLHF): Review code generated by AI models. Rank different outputs based on accuracy, efficiency, and style, and explicitly correct errors.
- Quality Assurance: ensure all code in the training set adheres to strict style guides (e.g., PEP 8 for Python) and is free of security vulnerabilities.
- Error Analysis: Identify why a model failed to generate the correct code (e.g., logic error vs. syntax error) and provide feedback to improve future performance.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Strong Coding Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge in [Insert Languages: e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++]. You must be able to write "perfect" code that serves as a ground-truth example.
- Technical Writing Skills: Exceptional command of written English. You can explain complex technical concepts simply and clearly.
- Detail-Oriented: You have a hawk-eye for syntax errors, edge cases, and inefficient logic. You care deeply about code style and formatting.
- Code Review Experience: Experience reviewing pull requests (PRs) or mentoring junior developers is highly preferred.
