Role Overview -

We are seeking an experienced SAP Merchandise Financial Planning and Assortment Planning Consultant with proven expertise in implementing and leading multiple projects in retail planning solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP (or Oracle) MFP and Assortment Planning modules, strong business process design skills, and the ability to lead client workshops and deliver end-to-end solutions.

Key Responsibilities -

Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP):

Lead multiple projects as a Merchandise Financial Planning Lead.

Design and implement SAP (or Oracle) MFP tools capable of developing category-level sales plans.

Build and configure WISSI (Weekly Sales & Stock Intake) planning and execution tools.

Conduct design workshops with clients and document business processes comprehensively.

Deliver Business Process Design Documents and ensure alignment with client objectives.

Assortment Planning:

Lead multiple projects as an Assortment Planning Lead.

Implement SAP (or Oracle) Assortment Planning solutions, including:

Merchandise strategy setup

Location clustering

Option planning

Assortment listing

Sales projections

Facilitate client workshops and prepare detailed Business Process Design Documents.

Required skills and qualifications - 

Technical Expertise:

Strong experience in SAP Merchandise Financial Planning and Assortment Planning modules (Oracle experience is a plus).

Ability to design and configure planning tools for retail environments.

Functional Expertise:

Deep understanding of retail planning processes, category management, and assortment strategies.

Experience in UAE retail market practices and localization requirements.

Leadership & Communication:

Proven track record of leading design workshops with clients.

Excellent documentation skills for Business Process Design Documents.

Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.

Experience:

Minimum 5+ years in retail planning solutions with multiple end-to-end implementations.

Prior UAE project experience is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications -

SAP Certification in Retail Planning modules.

Experience with integration to other retail systems (e.g., POS, Inventory Management).

Exposure to Oracle Retail Planning solutions.
