Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant with strong functional expertise and hands-on implementation experience. The ideal candidate will work closely with US-based clients to design, implement, and support SAP TM solutions, ensuring seamless transportation planning and execution across global supply chains.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP TM implementations, rollouts, and support projects
- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into SAP TM solutions
- Configure SAP TM modules including:
- Transportation Planning & Execution
- Freight Order Management
- Charge Calculation & Settlement
- Carrier Selection & Tendering
- Integration with SAP ERP / S/4HANA.
- Work on TM–EWM, TM–SD, TM–MM integrations
- Support cutover, data migration, testing (Unit, SIT, UAT) and go-live activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex TM-related issues
- Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams
- Provide production support and continuous improvement recommendations
- Coordinate with onshore (US) stakeholders during overlapping shift hours.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of SAP experience with 4+ years in SAP TM
- Strong hands-on configuration experience in SAP TM
- Experience with S/4HANA TM is highly preferred
- Good understanding of logistics, transportation, and supply chain processes
- Experience working with US clients and global projects
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to work independently in a remote, US-shift environment.
